weekend excitement
1 clacky has been nagging nonstop to get us to go to freshmen events.
2 i went grocery shopping [yum food] and had a freshman carry my groceries up to my room in exchange for showing her around bexley.
3 we went to the cambridge carnival and i ate an ice cream cone.
4 i left my atm card in an atm so i have to wait 5-7 days to get a new one. annoying.
5 it was so so so hot on saturday, so we went swimming at the gym.

I know this is a total long shot, but-- we used to be "online friends" like a million and a half years ago (this is Emma/"Deirdre" from the Netherlands, remember the Harry Potter fandom? Oh dear) and I have sneakily continued reading your blog all along because I like reading about your life and changing hair colours. :-)
My question is this: I'm coming to the US next week and my stay will include traveling to Boston with a friend who is currently doing an internship elsewhere in MA. We're trying to find an affordable place to stay (it's just for one night, second weekend of September) and are having no luck at all. I thought that since you're a student and you live in the Boston area, you might have a recommendation for us?
