here is why i hate myself:

i am sick of t-mobile. so i switched to verizon and bought a pretty new phone for my birthday.

on feb 20 they told me it would arrive in two-three days. just in time for my birthday!

cue me obsessively checking my e-mail/moping around besk looking for a package.

for the past WEEK.

now. today. i am talking to my mom. and i'm like MAM, a package from verizon didn't get delivered there, did it?

oh no, no it didn't.

...

wait. was it fedex?

yes.

oh i got a fedex notice of failed delivery. i tried to call the number but didn't get any useful information.

cue STABBING MYSELF IN THE EYE. A THOUSAND MILLION TIMES. oh the frustration i can't even express.

and don't even give me any shit about histrionics or consumer culture. because i don't even care.

i was excited about my stupid pink phone. and i am prepared to devote myself to wallowing in the fallout of my own stupidity.
