jag älskar dig.
igår rian and i started to learn svenska. after listening to lots of sound files of singsong phrases, we decided we wanted to immerse ourselves in the language and watch a swedish movie. about love.
so we went to the wikipedia entry on swedish cinema and decided on fucking åmål. we found a torrent to download, and eight years later were sitting in a lecture hall with egg & duggan & seohyung as the movie began to play.
then we realised the subtitles were in portugese. and only about one-twentieth of the lines were translated.
but we watched the movie anyway.
ps: white hoodie + white tee + white skirt + white leggings + stolen socks from lauren because apparently i don't own any white socks + pink legwarmers + white belt + glittery pink yarn tail + yellow construction paper horn + pink headband + shiny gold shoes = UNICORN COSTUME.

mushy mushy pictures

for example, if you are a zombie with a preference for the basal ganglia, perhaps, i could be like. HI. IT'S RIGHT THERE. EAT UP.
box of clothes came in the mail. dugan & i played dress up in catsuit & coveralls. i put a dress on backwards and showed a lot of cleavage.
i found a pink plastic headband with glittery gold baubles on springs in a suitcase last night.

family weekend
parents & sibs visited. met my friends. bought me meals.
it's so weird that these people i lived with for so long are now just visitors. for a few days. i guess that is what GROWiNG up and BEiNG iNDEPENDENT is all about. still weird, though. i miss them, i think. even though i love this. this independence.
stayed up talking late last night. a lot of nonsense. i don't know what to do with myself sometimes. i am stubborn and confusing.
i found a pet balloon. a little grey slug on a red ribbon leash. clacky kidnapped it a lot. and then i left it in rian's room. i miss it.
i'm pretty sure i was on the verge of tears when it disappeared and i didn't know clack had hid it. hormones? i don't know.
also jazzy gave me a black and white photograph. of boston across the river and boats and a bench. it is the BAD version. i like it. but i left it in rian's room, too. FORGETFUL.
i went through all my classes' websites and i don't have any urgent work to do. i have no idea how i will spend my sunday afternoon.
that's a lie. there are a thousand million things to do.

here is one reason i am grat:
instead of reading for my hass class or starting my bio pset, i think it's a good idea to scan pages of my notes and collage the doodles together to make a new layout. also photograph my chaotic couch and turn up the saturation.
here is one reason i am less than grat:
i'm too lazy to make the comments page look any less shitty. soz, but you'll have to deal.
i had a spectacular four day weekend, thux for asking.
some highlights:
* pirates of the caribbean 2
* be nice to clack day
* islands
* canadian thanksgiving
* delicious housemaster dinner
* boy.
* sleeping all day
* reading my neuroscience textbook in the space center because CONSTRUCTION WORKERS ARE TOO NOISY OUTSIDE
overall a success.
um tomorrow i am fasting? from 5:20am - 6:10pm? i know. what? i don't know. i guess it is to help hungry people or some shit. i'm also supposed to "try my best to refrain from negative speech/thoughts." LOLOLOLOLOL. we'll see.
