here's how i could tell today was my last day of work:
my "good morning"s were probably the cheeriest things i've ever heard in my life.
so i'm at my aunt's apartment and on her desktop is a picture which happens to include me circa junior year of high school. and. why, god, why. who decided it was a good idea to let me be a teenager? what did i do to my hair?
in case it isn't clear from the picture, dreadlocks + bleach + a little blue and pink? LOL @ my antics. and thux for still being my friends, people who knew me then. [actually, allison, wasn't that the year you stopped talking to me? ;)]
i guess i can't even talk, though, because this afternoon i went to south street to get BLEACH & BANGS !!!
if you are wondering what that could possibly look like, just think movie star.
it will prolly turn pink soon.

- decorate my walls. [er, our walls, warren. :-*] i bought a 16 pack of color sharpies, because i am a dork.
things i will miss about home
- natflax. moviesmoviesmovies! at school, i just depend on torrents & the kindness of others. and thus end up watching a lot of stupid movies that klack wanted to see.

so last night i got into bed
and then i was like, oh, shit. my light's still on.
so i SIGHED and got out of bed to turn it off. my calendar is on the wall next to my lightswitch, so while i was up, i added a note to it.
get back in bed.
what the fuck. i didn't fucking turn the light off.
SIGH. get up. turn the light off.
go to bed.
sometimes i am the ditziest person i know.

oh ha.
here is a movie i adore: little miss sunshine.
it was just so so honest & funny. and i'm in love with all the characters.
yesterday allison & i went back to nepa. because we just can't get enough.
and we went bowlin with colin. and i suck rill bad. but it was fantastic anyway.
um. can you even believe that in one week i will be going to mitty with colin baggins?

do you double doggy swear
i had a doctor's appointment this morning. and i've finally become an Adult, i guess, because i've graduated from a pediatrician to a nurse practitioner who speaks to me in what is not technically baby talk, but could probably be put in the same genus.
and there was absolutely no point.
seriously all she did today was ask, "HAVE YOU EVER HAD A SEIZURE?", "DO YOU HAVE ANY AMPUTATED FINGERS?", and lecture me about being a good driver/tell me how she "gestured in an unladylike way" at some other driver. i don't know. she is insane.
i was like oh haha. well. yes it is a good thing to be courteous to other drivers.
i did at least ask her to renew my yasmin prescription. so i guess it was not entirely the most retarded experience of my life. but it was pretty close!
and because the appointment was possibly at the worst time ever [partially my fault for agreeing to the first time they said on the phone], i had maximum waiting time for trains in all directions. fortunately, i planned for these circumstances and threw daniel handler's watch your mouth into my bag before leaving this morning.
so i got to reread like half of it today. and here are some things. first of all, i should never forget how much i love daniel handler. because he is perfect.
also, clicky, remember how you randomly asked me about incest last night? [okay, yeah, guys, i don't know. he is a click.] well, basically the theme of this book is incest. and judaism a little bit. and i would like to take this opportunity to recommend that you read it, because it is like, dripping with sex. so i think you would appreciate it.

i am too too excited to go back to mitty
went swimming with fallon & biscy & a frosh today. [at alum's house for student picnic.]
the rest of the frosh were too scared to go in the water.
it was funfunfun! i'm so excited for all the little frosh. and for next semester. and our fuckin sweet housing setup.
