on the uselessness of brothers
active antiusefulness really.
he walks into my room and in one swift move snatches a wad of dollars and receipts from my bed and smoothly tosses it into the crack between my bed and the wall.
uhh, thanks?
&more. . .
brother: BLOG ABOUT HOW I BURNED YOU.
me: burned me?
brother: [after i walked into your room, with a sandwich, carelessly sloshing a glass of milk around, to stand in the middle of your room and eat], you said, "this is not an eatery." and i said, "that's funny. you should do stand-up."
. . .
brother: do you think ground pokemon evolved from rock pokemon or rock pokemon evolved from ground pokemon?
me: stares at him in silence.
brother: which do you think came first on the evolutionary tree?
OK, first of all I don't talk in ALL CAPS UNLESS I AM BEING SARCASTIC.
Second of all, your descriptions are hardly accurate. I quote you as saying "he walks into my room and in one swift move snatches a wad of dollars and receipts from my bed and smoothly tosses it into the crack between my bed and the wall." Goebbels would be proud. I hardly made one swift move. Firstly, I picked up the wad of bills and receits and made as if to stuff them in my pocket, sly as I am. Then I tossed it gracefully to you, but as a bumbler you failed to catch it. It thus fell into your supposed crack between bed and wall, if such ACTUALLY EXISTS.
Also, you neglect to mention as I "carelessly sloshed a glass of milk around," not a single drop left the glass.
Finally, I think it is a highly important question to consider whether Ground Pokemon evolved from Rock Pokemon or vice versa. The ramifications of such a question have a enormous magnitude. It is similar to the question of the chicken and egg, though quite different. While Ground Pokemon attacks are based on earth and soil, Rock Pokemon attacks are based on throwing or breaking rocks. So which ability evolved first? The answer to such a question would help us understand the way Pokemon work. Also, why is Sudowoodo a rock pokemon, when he clearly looks like a tree? The mind boggles. Also, many Pokemon are dual typed of both Ground and Rock. This is strange, considering Rock Pokemon are weak against Ground attacks. Did Ground Pokemon evolve this way to defeat Rock Pokemon, or is it simply that Rock Pokemon lack a natural defense against Ground Pokemon, having evolved from them? Furthermore, consider the fact that Ground Pokemon are immune to Electricity, and Rock Pokemon aren't! There is a whole field of study left bare here, and you should feel very ashamed of yourself for not agreeing.
screecher is so mature nowadays. he is certainly becoming a young man right before our eyes.
HE'S ALSO REALLY GOOD WITH THE JOKES.
I say Rock and Ground Pokemon share a common ancestor, but their current incarnations are due to evolution after a long-ago split.
Wow. A month after the AP Bio exam and already my knowledge has gone to pot.
