except maybe the hideous bonnet they have me wearing.

i've spent so much time travelling the past week. six hour train ride from boston to philly. six hour drive from philly to virginia to see my newborn cousin (so tiny!). then back to philly from virginia again. exhausting.

i'm sad.

it's tough.

there have been rumblings of dissatisfaction with the recent infrequency of updates. lauren.

so. i took my first final this morning and my second and last is tomorrow morning.

when i'm finished, i plan to go to the largest apple store in the united states (just opened!) and buy myself a macbook. i will be very poor after i make this purchase, but my old laptop has become a desktop because i'm too scared to move it lest it stops charging and i would like to have some source of entertainment on my upcoming six hour train ride home.

the love of my life is leaving for san francisco for basically forever on wednesday, so that is sad beyond words.

and my aunt is in the hospital giving birth right now and my sister's fourteenth birthday is coming up soon.

because at the end of class the professor made a little speech and everyone clapped.

also due to my extreme dawdling in the morning i didn't catch the bus until 11:25 (class started at 11:07) and apparently my monthly t-pass had expired even though i thought that when i got it the lady said it would automatically renew at the beginning of each month. i believed her so completely that i had actually meant to cancel it for may but forgot. anyway, i only had fifty cents on me so i just stood awkwardly at the front of the bus all the way to harvard square not sure if the bus driver was going to kick me off or not.
