tonight on my radio show i plan on having noise percussion - that means you and i and everyone else i can manage to get go down to the station with (weird) buckets, boxes, pots and pans, skateboards, kateboards, kalimbas, phones, and whatever else we get out hands on, and bang the fuck out of it all for two hours in the beautiful wmbr studio.
It was a lot. of fun. Like, seriously, it was exactly how it sounds. A bunch of people experimenting with making noise in a room. For > an hour. I probably wouldn't turn on the radio and listen to it, but participating in it was kickass.
Go team.
[edit: it sounded kind of like this. and if that doesn't satisfy your noise percussion needs, there's an hour more. but i wasn't there for the first half hour, so why would you want to listen to that?]

Once upon a time we had to do that for CLASS. All the frosh were shoved into the gym for an hour with instruments. Ridiculous.
I listened to it for 35 minutes. It rocked.
