i got soul, but i'm not a soldier

Things I don't like:

  • unintentionally sleeping until noon [two days in a row]
  • being woken up circa 2 in the morn by an obnoxious fire alarm
  • being intimidated into putting off my physics assignment because my roommate's took hers a bajillion years, only to find out it took approximately 2 seconds

But other than that, life's pretty sweet. Our two friends shocked us by pledging with Zeta Psi, so now we have rush girl tee-shirts. Which are darling. Except they're white and we were both wearing black bras, but we put them on anyway because we are slutty frat girls. Muah.

I know y'all go to other colleges where the frats are probably a little different and you're like *GASP* ALMEDA, WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH YOUR LIFE? But honestly, Zeta Psi is the most darling group of darling boys evar. They are precious.

Especially Mom. Whom I think I might not have written about before, which is kind of surprising to me, because I'm practically obsessed. [actually, I just looked it up and I did mention him during CPW. See 9:15.]

So, yeah, he was our group leader during CPW. And then one night we visited his frat, and they were having a chill party, and he was maternal to the MAX. "Do you need anything?", "Are you comfortable?", "Is there anything I can get you?" And he made us root beer floats, and I said, "Thanks, Mom!" and so an era began.

So now that we're all on campus for real, we still call him Mom, and I've taught other people who barely know him to use it as well. And he LOVES it. Muahahaha. And he took us out for breakfast one day, and dinner another, and we're very frequently in attendance at Zeta Psi. And he helped us paint our room, and he helped Justen buy his books, and he celebrated Kiki's birthday with us, and he's adorable.

He has this little dent in his chest where he can rest beers. And he's from Minnesota and says "car" funny.

    But enough Mom!love.

I have a couple of psets due Friday that I should definitely probably have already started. But I'm totally not in the mood. So I'm just hanging around in my dorm room bored while Lauren works on calc or something and makes me feel like a slacker.

I want to go find people to visit, but I'm too lazy. And all the people I want to visit are in East Campus and each floor has its own locked entrance, so I'd have to sit outside the door looking pathetic until someone let me in. Or I suppose I could call them, but that would ruin the element of surprise.

It'd be cool if you had sex with Mom. Just to make Freud cry and the amusing expletives one finds oneself shouting during sex, given the particular context.

Instead of Mom saying, "YEA U LIEK THAT?" it'd be "Yes, honey, would you like that?" and instead of "OH GOD YES I DO" you'd say, "Yes, Mom, please, bring me more." Et celery.
