RAM = teh installed.

Too bad I am too unskilled to actually get it seated myself. My daddy had to do it because apparently I wasn't pushing it in hard enough. I'm sorry I didn't want to break the $150+ piece of hardware. I just have a tender soul.

So now I think my darling's going faster, but it's difficult to say. That's the idea, though, right?

I stumbled upon this random girl's ell-jay, which I enjoyed skimming briefly because she comes across as having such a keen enjoyment for life.

In that spirit, this entry will attempt to be as upbeat and complaint-free as possible. Starting. . . now!

Remember how I thought I failed my math diagnostic test? Well, perhaps you don't, but I do. I thought they were going to kick me out of MIT for getting like the worst score ever. But don't even worry, my future is, for now, secured.

Part I - Algebra - 24 /25
Part II - Geometry and Analytical Geometry - 21 /25
Part III - Trigonometry - 16 /20
Part IV - Logarithms, Exponentials, and Complex Numbers - 25 /25

TOTAL Score 86 /95
Weaknesses Noted: None

Of course, it's MI effing T, so I'm sure at least half the freshman scored 95/95, but I'm just proud I didn't fail. Ew trig.

I found out that our results were up, again, via someone else, approx. a week after they'd been posted. I don't know if I am just more apathetic than everyone else or what, but really not doing so well on keeping up with the times.

At any rate, I also now know my Freshman Advising Seminar: 17.S10 Race, Ethnicity, Gender and my HASS-D: 21H.104 Riots,Strikes,Conspir: Am Hist.

Cha-ching!

And I'm leaving in less than a week, ahhh! Started shopping yest. with teh M. Bought all sorts of things. [Buying back-to-school supplies like pens & pencils, etc. has to be the most boring shopping experience evar!] The fun stuff was sheets & a comforter & a bathrobe. Oh, my bathrobe. It is too ridiculous. Blue and turquoise vertical stripes. A hood. BFF AAf.

Not quite finished; want to buy some clothing still. Those stylish track jackets. Perhaps a light coat.

Other tasks left to do before my departure include le dyeing of les cheveux. I.e., making it atomic pink. Because I'm a little addicted. The bleach&dye arrived from Amphigory today, so all that's left is to guilt my mother into acting against her gut instinct. But that shouldn't be too difficult. If I don't want a boyfriend, that's my prerogative, she says. [Nice boys aren't attracted to girls with weird hair, obv.]

I am pretty much a kickass driver. Tolly comfortable at the wheel. Drove from Allentown to Wilkes-Barre and then all the way home. Highway driving, whee. Merging, changing lanes, going fifteen miles per hour over the posted speed limit, assholes galore. Yeah, son.

Friday I bid adieu to my sweet KJ. She's currently at Lafayette, most likely playing manhunt with her new friends. Or avoiding playing the game to the best of her ability, because it's not really her style. She squeals if you poke her in the middle of the day, while you're standing right next to her.

And I received some sweetsweet CDs from M.Cass. Including Soul Coughing and teh Goo Goo Dolls. Oh, the late 90s. I miss you terribly. Except for the part where I was an awkward preteen.

I also didn't completely suck at dancing, dancing, and revolting Fri. evening. Yes, I was playing beginner's mode, but still. Definitely improved since last I plodded around the DDR pad. Go team!

1.5 more days of work.

AHHH, COLLEGE!!!!!!!!1111one

PS: I unconditionally guarantee that HOE.org: COLLEGE EDITION will be up soon. I'm sorry this layout is trying on those with sensitive artistic natures. You'll just have to deal for the mo.

PPS: If my yearbook doesn't find me soon, the probability of me eating someone's brains will continue to grow exponentially greater.

Nah, girls with weird hair... eh. If you ask Lin, she'd tell you about all of my hair hang-ups.

Wow, since when was Amphigory a makeup etc store and not just a book by Edward Gorey? Hmm.
Oh and yay college! Lucky you getting to leave sooner than I.
Boston. College. Yay.
Etc.

race, ethnicity and gender were the most interesting topics we covered in first year social anthropology. that sounds like a pretty cool seminar :)

Guys are SO attracted to weird hair. It's like this:

Guy: That girl has hair that makes me notice her. I must have sex with her.

^not true (I hope)

Oh. Don't make me cry. You're so sweet. And so truthful. But don't worry-- I wormed my way out of it. ;-D Well, no. The Prey team cheated and then like half the people didn't want to play anymore anyway. So half the people did and half just wandered off to make the next days sandwiches. I excel at sanwich making.

Haha, that random girl is my friend Meg, so I'm gonna go ahead and take partial credit for this discovery

k8 the sk8..
[phone call w. sienna brielle]
her: have you heard from k8?
me: no
her: WELL WHAT IS SHE UP TO?
me: i don't know.

she hasn't forgotten about you .. yet. so don't worry.
[she is causing trouble in DC already though]

PS. i was at a certain cool kids house on monday and a certain person was there and without giving any names let me just say that he is the same person who had a golden ticket in 9th grade and who is pretty much the funniest person ever.

i like how atomic pink hairdye is a customer favourite on that site. is it because you've bought so much of it, hmm? ;)

pink hair turns me WAY on---

college is too great
