Mmm, fire hose

"Getting an education from MIT is like taking a drink from a fire hose."

This layout inspired partly by that quote and partly by Safari's RSS feed style sheet. So minimalist, so classy!

T minus two days and counting.

  • my sexy engraved iPod arrived & is now chockfull of iTunes [not really because I only have about 5 gigs of music
  • I talked to Aaron Todd this morning, who only reads my blog when it mentions him, so this bullet point is just to guarantee one more reader
  • my hair is a strawberry blonde, in the halfway bleached stage between brassy faded chocolate cherry and atomic pink
  • my yearbook is officially MIA; it should have been here Saturday, wtf?

I read that quote in my "351 Best Colleges" book! There are so many great quotes in there:

"Vassar is like a big walrus butt: lots of hair but also very moist."
"Vassar is like a sexual disease: once you've accepted it, it's great, but when you realize you've got another three years to put with it, you go see a medical adviser immediately."
"There's a saying I've heard around: nine out of ten girls in California look good, the tenth goes to UCSD."
"UCSD rages - NOT! If you like the ocean and the library and have a fear of parties and girls without facial hair, you've hit the jackpot!!!"

There are many quotes that don't deal with Vassar or UCSD, but those are my favorite.

Good work! I don't need dark glasses to peruse your site now.
