Poll: do you think this red transparent cell phone faceplate is actually the colour shown in the picture [i.e., hot pink] or is it really red and the photo misrepresents its true colour? Should I take a chance on that faceplate or buy this slightly more boring light pink one? Any comments discussing the inherent unnecessity of coloured cell phone faceplates will be ignored.
Last night I helped out at a dance for fifth and sixth graders at the Roslyn Boys and Girls Club. I had forgotten how much I hate small children in large numbers. They were funny to watch, though: standing ten feet apart from each other for slow dances and whispering to their friends even though the music was ear-drum-poppingly loud and it was hard to hear people speaking in normal voices. And I got to hang out with Krista [who organises it, so she was v. stressed] & Becca D'Orazio a little.
Monday is Pi Day. Lin "Oh, yeah. I'm so fucking sexy. *head turn*" Gyi had everyone in our class sign up to bring in pies/napkins/forks/drinks/&c. Hopefully we will have one badass calc party and snow Mr Miller with so much fun that he won't be able to teach the whole period. I've made a poster that says "Happy π Day, Mr Miller! from: 1st period". And there's a little note at the bottom that says "your shining face, exciting lecturse, and darling sweaters are the only reasons Jung Woo comes to school. ❤" Plus a little doodle of a flying squirrel and Mr Miller wearing a boa and saying "I guess that's what they call the squeeze theorem." & at the top it has two lines of pi: "3.1415926 etc." It's probably the best poster I've ever done.
Muaha. Muaha. *clutch*

I doubt it's the color that it looks to be. :( But I still think it looks better than the pink. Much more passionate.
I love Mr. Miller. He's just so smooth and continuous.
