Since Lin Gyi has apparently become addicted

to my blog, I suppose it is my duty to update more regularly, lest she bores of seeing the same post every time she checks it.

Last Friday I had an excellent time in health class. Our teacher kept us all entertained with stories of her three-year-old son's imaginary friend named "Jew." Jew is always up to trouble, like swinging from the ceiling fan and knocking pictures of the wall. Oh, that mischievous Jew! [She's on crack, I swear.]

I also spent a lovely evening with R. [my best friend in English] & M., watching Ghost World and having girl talk on the trampoline.

My Saturday afternoon consisted largely of trying to figure out why sticking an egg inside a tennis ball doesn't prevent the e. from breaking when dropped from considerable heights. [That's physics class for you. But don't worry, my group came up with other ideas that actually work, so we probably won't fail the project.]

Sunday I drove a little bit [I will get my driver's license, someday] and ventured to the library. I borrowed Spellbound, Chocolat, and Amelie in my excitement at my iBook's ability to play DVDs. [Number of DVDs watched thusfar: 2; number watched on my iBook: 0 . . . >.> <.<]

And today was another refreshing Monday. We're playing soccer in gym class and the best part is making a show of plodding in the general direction of the ball whilst shouting encouraging things at other people. I don't know what it is; I just get caught up in the game and that little cheerleader/gym teacher part of my psyche is awakened, and then I can't resist the urge to yell at people. Esp. Melissa and Lin, esp. when the ball is coming toward them, and esp. when the last thing they want to do is interact with it. Muaha. Muaha. We don't want no inchworms in our gym class! And no caterpillars and no larvae!
